I had been toying with the idea of a military themed bagger for a while. I wanted to pay tribute to all of the active, retired, POW''s, & MIA soldiers throughout history...... Thats how the "Military Bagger" idea was born.
Harley was contracted by out government to build bikes for our military in World War II. These bikes were used to transport soldiers, supplies and even had sidecars with gun turrants!
When we started this project, I knew that I wanted the primary color of the bike to be olive drab green. We wanted the logos on the bike to be similar to a WW2 era Harley logo. The olive drab needed to have a similar hue to the colors used during the Vietnam war and the rest of the graphics needed to reflect the current Iraq digi camo.
Our goal for this bike is to auction it off to benefit a charity geared towards soldiers and their families....We haven''t decided on the charity yet but will anounce it here once we do.
